In this software project engineer role, you will be part of a Project Services Group that specializes in delivering MES solutions to multi-national manufacturing companies. The Project Services Group is split into small teams that manage a number of concurrent projects of different sizes that is led by experienced Solution Architects/Project Managers. The Project Group is managed out of Crawley in the UK, but delivers solutions to customers across Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test and deploy interfaces
  • Develop, test and deploy extensions and customizations
  • Create dashboards/reports/forms/transactions in the MES product
  • After experience gained you will be involved in writing specifications and guiding others to implement
  • Configure MES master data
  • Integrate interfaces with production equipment, such as OPC and gauges
  • Installation of our MES software and applying any updates
  • Test solutions, evaluation and sign off
  • Support customers, troubleshooting

Basic Qualifications:

  • A degree in Software Development
  • Programming experience
  • An understanding and experience in Object Oriented programming language C# and SQL
  • Good English skills, both written and verbal are essential for this roles
