Linux Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for getting our backend, which consists of standard Linux OS tooling as well as our custom solutions, ready to be installed and maintained effortlessly across our 150+ on-premise installations.

Tasks:

  • Configuration of System Services (e.g. ha-proxy, apache2)
  • High availability using Pacemaker/Corosync
  • Internal development infrastructure (SuSE Open Build Service OBS)
  • Ansible or other tools for automated deployment and configuration of certificate-
    based authentication
  • Analysis and tracking of security vulnerabilities in our backends, e.g., with Nessus
  • KeyCloak
  • Logging tooling, e.g., Elastic, lumberjack, Beat
  • Container Technologies (e.g. Docker)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Development (or have completed a comparable qualification).
  • Programming knowledge in Object Oriented programming languages (such as C#, Java or C++).
  • English written and verbal skills are essential for this role.
