Gqeberha, South Africa – 26 September 2025 – On Thursday, 18 September 2025, S4 Integration, in partnership with DG Capital, hosted another successful charity golf day at the Port Elizabeth Golf Club.

The event brought together 120 golfers, corporate partners, and sponsors in support of three local beneficiaries through the Community Chest of the Eastern Cape. More than R160 000 was raised, including in-kind donations from various sponsors and a generous R100 000 contribution from Standard Bank.

Following the incredible success of S4’s inaugural charity golf day last year, which raised R260 000 for the Gelvandale High School Hostel and Gelvandale Rugby Academy, this year’s event built on that momentum to further strengthen support for local communities. Once again, S4 Integration partnered with the Community Chest of the Eastern Cape, a trusted non-profit dedicated to improving living conditions and creating development opportunities within under-resourced communities in the Nelson Mandela Bay.

This year’s beneficiaries include:

• Gelvandale High School Hostel (Helenvale) – The hostel provides boarding facilities for learners from disadvantaged backgrounds, supporting their education and personal development. Funds raised last year helped make key improvements, but ongoing support remains vital.
• Gelvandale Rugby Academy – Founded in 2019, the academy works with players from underprivileged communities, fostering not only sports development but also leadership, personal growth, and access to educational opportunities.
• Siphuthando Crèche (Missionvale) – A registered daycare centre offering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

This impactful day was made possible by the enthusiasm of 120 golfers, the commitment of tee sponsors, and the generous backing of Standard Bank, Festo, SICK Sensor Intelligence, The Maritime Group, Wirk, and NoMuda VisualFactory.
